As a photographer who seeks out the nuances of light and its glimmer, it only seemed natural to combine it with my appreciation for Cyanotype as a form of contemporary design. This exploration came out of my time in-between fine art projects. In order to keep my practice active, I printed Cyanotypes on fabric and mulberry paper. I was inspired by the play of light through pattern and color. This has been a most delightful and unique experience. It has enabled me to appreciate my skills as both, a craft as well as fine art, without feeling bound or limited by either.
